Swiss Hotel Plus announced today the release of a powerful new geographic pricing capability for hotels using its RezTrip+ CRS. Hotels will now be able to offer different prices in various geographies with a high degree of granularity. Combined with RezTrip+’s Dynamic Pricing Module, Swiss Hotel Plus+ provides unprecedented pricing power to hotels. Hotels can define geographic segments by continent, country, state, and city with the ability to define exceptions at every level. For example, a hotel in New York City can extend a special offer to people booking from California and Europe, but prevent the offer from being seen or booked from San Francisco, France, and Germany. This will allow hotels to attract valuable new business from specific markets without diluting average daily rates from the rest of the world. The RezTrip+ CRS allows hotels to offer the same rate plan at different prices in different regions around the world, using “include” or “exclude” conditions. The Best Available Rate, or any collection of rate plans and room types, can be priced lower or higher for guests booking from within a 50-mile radius of the hotel, in order to attract valuable drive-in business. If needed, the hotel can further limit the visibility of this offer from the hours of noon to midnight only to those booking from their mobile phones on weekdays, for same day check-ins and staying up to two nights.

Next week, SHP+ is launching its latest development: a new web booking engine. The latest booking engine brings a beautiful interface, intuitive user experience, and new revenue-maximizing strategies to the market. The new booking engine draws from years worth of data from the current booking engine, using insights to deliver a product that maximizes revenue for the hotel by ensuring a great user experience for every guest. Each step of the booking process focuses on presenting upsells in a natural way that blends into the booking process. This falls in line with Travel Tripper’s mission to maximize revenues through the lowest cost-of-sale channel, the hotel’s own website. As presented through social media, the user interface uses a modern layout that showcases the property with a scrolling display of room types and a large canvas spread for room images. The user interface also prominently displays call-to-action buttons throughout the booking process to drive users to book hotels. This product offers the same unique features that were attractive to guests and hotels in the current version, such as policy upsells, packaged and a-la-carte add-ons, and multi-lingual capability. A host of new features are also available, including multi-property search and referrals to alternate hotels for sold-out dates. The new booking engine joins the RezTrip+ CRS product suite, which includes mobile booking engines, GDS distribution, channel management, PMS interfaces, reporting, and rate, inventory and promotions management.
